Awesome New Guidebook to NorthWoods Whitewater!

Check out the review at
http://coloradokayaking.com/main.php...344465af5c5c21

Also - this just in. The boys up North have invited all of us Rocky Mountain Boaters up there to sample the goods and the time is right now! April thru June is apparently the best time to go and if you take one look at the pictures in this guidebook you will be chompin' at the bit to get up there.

The story behind this guidebook is also very interesting and I think no one will be dissapointed with what the NorthWoods have to offer so check it out.

Thanks,
Evan J. Stafford

Better get yourselves up here soon

More like April is the time the hit the Northwoods, at least this year. Levels are dropping fast. We've been having a blast the past 3 weeks though. When water only stays in a creek for 1 week a year, there is a little more urgency. You guys are lucky.

How about the first two weeks of May

Do you think the Northwoods would have enough water to keep a crew of Class IV-V Colorado boaters busy for the first two weeks of May?

Well, we definately have some rivers to keep you guys happy. However, I don't know if there will still be water by May. The South Shore is done as of tomorrow, without some major rain. North Shore might last. I should be up there this weekend, and will have a look.

You should check out www.trucurrent.com, www.rapidsriders.net, or www.fluidgrooveproductions.com for updates on river conditions.

This was kind of a weird season. It would get cold and snow, then warm up and melt. Then when the ice started to break up, we got a few days of rain, which led to a very quick melt. Not conducive to a long season.

But who knows; I haven't had a chance to get up to the North North Shore yet, so they may still have some good water. Like I said, I'll try to get a feeling this weekend.

Cheers,
Erik
