Aspen Play Park?

I will be on a family vacation to Aspen in a week and was wondering if it was worth packing the boat. I know there are lots of great runs in the area, but given I will not have a partner nor lots of free time, I was wondering if the play park in aspen or if there were any other park and play areas near there that would be worthy of bringing the boat. Thanks

Slaughterhouse is nearly in-town, can be run in less than two hours, has good play and is frequented by local paddlers. Hang near the putin at 4:00 and you're bound to find a partner.

I would bring the boat. Lots of friendly people to boat with. Write a post when you get here and myself and my bros will contact you to run something.

the play park isnt really worth bringing a boat, but you'll find other paddlers for sure at the put in.
