I would love to see aerial scouting footage. I would like it even more if was it was presented in an organized format showing a river from put in to take out. It will be better viewing than the herky-jerky head mounted GoPro shots we get now. I am however very cheap, so it would have to be something sweet to get me to pay for it. Free? I would definitely use it.
And while your at it, I would also love to see a run by run view of just about every ski area also.
You better hurry with your idea though. I am willing to bet that there will be tons of this footage up on Youtube fairly soon. There are some cheap models coming on the market right now.
And, seriously you guys? Your giving him shit about the videos being too out of date to provide any help? Are you trying to tell me that the paper guide books we all use, that were written and published years ago are a better alternative?
I found this video guide to the Gauley to be at least as useful, if not more so, as the written guide from AW.
American Whitewater - 7 (Upper). Summersville Dam to Mason Branch, Gauley West Virginia, US
Gauley River Rafting Videos - Gauley River Rapids
I am sure I would find aerial footage to be just as useful.
