Anyone running Muddy Creek in the swell?

We're heading down to the San Rafael Swell in central Utah to run Muddy Creek next week (May 28th) from Tomsich Butte to Hidden Splendor. Weather is forecasting intermittent thunderstorms. It's looking iffy... Anyone know the roads in? Wondering if we need to aim for another date. Big potential for impassible roads or flash flooding? Hopefully someone out there has some good knowledge.

I went down there a few years ago to run it from Tomsich down and it was at hiking level. We went over the Memorial day holiday weekend. It is hit or miss so check river levels before you go. We did not and got skunked. Nice hike though.

The roads down there are all moderate grade, but can get very slick on the top. The red dirt roads are not as slick as the tan roads, which seem more clay based. I'd throw in a set of tire chains if you have them.
