Anyone recon the Source?

Anyone been hiking up there this season? can you drive all the way to Hessie or above yet? Anyone looked at the creek bed for new wood. The gauge reads 83 cfs this morning which means we may have missed the window for easy wading if there is much to clean.

dave,
what time can you get off work later this week. We should go up there and check it out. I have a sweet Husky saw that we cleaned the source with a few years ago. And i have recently purchased a dry suit, so I am ready for some cleaning missions. I bet the banks have a bit of snow still, but that's never stopped us before.

dave and nick-
count me in if you think you need and extra hand and we can work out a good time to go up there - I live in Boulder so I can probably go any afternoon if you let me know when. I could even bring a couple pairs of snowshoes - we marched through waist deep crusty snow in late May last year.

I think I could go early to mid afternoon friday. Any locals want to lend out some snow shoes? Nick I bet the boc might be willing to lend shoes out to anyone who wanted to help, what do you say Eric?

Dave

Edit: can't do Friday.

let's do it!

alright, bringing this topic back from the dead - I really want to get up there and clean it out before it cranks. It doesn't sound like anybody has been there yet. If so, please let me know. Other wise, next week anytime, lets get it done. I just need one more person.

I've got snowshoes and some small handsaws and I can pretty much go anytime next week. Call me and let's work out a good time.

I can probably get up there one afternoon mid week.

Joel, sounds like you need to redeem your self from a failed effort on Clear Creek.

ouch, Dave. well I'm working on it. I got Joe (the other guy who failed to pull the log from Clear Creek) and we are heading up there this morning. we will be sure to have beers in one hand any time we try to pull on a rope. we'll see you up there when the shit's going off.
