anyone paddled a Stearns "Pivot"?

lookin at upgrading the IK this summer, and have narrowed my field down to two choices: the classic tried and true sevylor xk1, or the Stearns "Pivot" river runner. I had never seen this before until I saw it advertised (Pivot Self-Bailing River Runner - KODIAK OUTBACK) on the web, and was just curious if anyone had paddled it before? I dont like buying things without being able to touch and feel them, and I haven't heard any reviews about it yet, so I figured I'd ask here once. been around a lot of xk1's, i like em a lot. if i dont hear anything I think ill go with the tried and true sevylor, but just curious, anyone know anything about this, good/bad?

YETI,
don't know what you are paddling now or much about stearns pivot, but both sevy's and stearns have durability issues if you take them on anything manky, they are sort of mid grade quality.Get a used AIRE LYNX from an outfitter,or if you are looking for more high performance Aire Force, they make a Force expedition if you need to carry a lot of gear the original doesn't have much gear capacity but blows other duckies away in all respects except forgiveness.NRS Maverick is pretty good for hypalon, the bandit is super light 17 lbs. if you are carrying it in somewhere ,i am sceptical of its durability though.

most sevylors do have durability issues, but i didnt know that about stearns. thats just the info im looking for, is stuff like that.

ive had two sevylors in the past that have worked out well, i ground them over some thing thats i thought for sure would tear it and it just gave it a beauty mark, so im pretty well sold on the brand. im looking at the "xk1000ds" or something, but i have seen them in action and i think i will be happy with that.
