I bet it will hold at least through the week. You want to go this week sometime? Tuesday or Wednesday? -andrew. 970 216 8176

It was surprisingly high this weekend, so i would think it should hold out though next week.

it all depends on the long draw reservior releases. check the gauge before you drive. right now it is at a great level.

On friday the majority of flow in the big south was coming from long draw (200cfs) and some from the main fork (50cfs) and the corresponding level of the Big South was around 1.75-2.0ft on the old gauge.

In my opinion, if long draw drops below 150cfs the upper half will not be very runnable and the lower half from peterson lake would be the better run. Basically, watch the long draw gauge and make your decision off of that.

I'm sure people will be posting trip/flow reports in the coming days/weeks also.

Yesterday several big groups (total of 40ish people) ran it. Frency and Marty both throught that it was right on the line of medium.

We did an overnight trip from Estes last weekend. And, there is no snow up there. The headwaters cfs has dropped to 50% of what I saw it last Sunday. So, like Lief said, if Long Draw releases then it'll run. If not, we're shit out of luck.

PS. The log is out of Cool World thanks to 2 Z-drags and some nifty work with a hand saw.
