anyone ever row a drift boat in browns?

Just checkin if anyone's ever done it, for one, and if so, do the flume or canyon doors (or anything else in there) pose a prob for a hard boat? Some easy raft lines can be a bitch in a d.b. BTW, my buddy who's asking is a M.F. Salmon guide and one of the best rowers I've ever seen.

any good beta? thanx......

I've seen my friend Lance run it in a dory with no problems. He used to run all of the raft runs in the dory, but I think he sold it. Lance has the body of an NFL linebacker and he can make that boat go wherever he tells it to go, but it sounds like your friend is good too so I suppose he wouldn't have any problems either.

If he takes it down the mf he should be fine. That being said, it wouldn't take much to create a problem. I would make sure it has adequate flotation.

My friend Kim took a fully open boat athrough #s at 1400 2 years ago. he did great, but had to bail a LOT. Pretty funny watching the other guy cast through much of it.
