Anyone been to Waterton yet?

Is it flowing, is it free of ice?? Is it worth the drive.

free of ice from top to bottom. flows have started to pick up a little. I wouldn't recommend making the drive (or the hike out) if the flows are below 300.

Enjoy!

Waterton

We ran it last Sunday and it was fun, I did it last year when it was 600ish but I enjoyed it more at what it is now 250ish, more to avoid in the rapids but I suppose the play isn't as good if you're going there soley for that.

The rapid with portions of old concrete is (about 3/4 way down, don't know the name) was harder though at this low of water, instead of being able to take the far left line you end up needing to go a bit to the right in which case the current pushes you into the rocks on the left just after the drop, still fun but harder in my opinion.

Fun and free of ice with some play. Boulder's a ways, though; I definately wouldn't drive that far for anything less than 300. Have fun.
