OK, here's the deal. I picked up a cancelation permit for the Middle Fork with a 6/6 launch date. This is high water season, but the snowpack is sitting about 60% of normal, so it should be a good level without being too high. I have been through all of my rafting contacts and nobody can make it. If you have a raft (or two), and can support a few kayakers in addition to anyone you invite, and want to go boat a totally AWESOME river, drop me an e-mail at
