"Twelve" lol. That striding is impressive, especially when Jeff got spanked ,kept his feet in the cups and did a sort of back deck /EJ type roll.I don't think too many people[ twelve ?] can do that
.Hell there are only about twelve people striding, maybe more with the popularity of SUP.Watch
'A Token of My Extreme' sometime ,it's hard to find but is Snyder and Co. duckying V+ in W.VA. back in the 90's ,awesome.
You ducky good 3-4 sometimes harder on the Front Range we should boat sometime.
IK'er,You seem to have a more canoeist style approach to paddling, check into the canoe club.If you are trying to improve on whitewater you need to flip sometimes or you are not doing hard enough stuff to get used to the speed and turbulence of the river.Go to a play spot with a safe run out and get yourself spanked alot and practice self rescue. It will be much harder, even for an expert, to flip a heavily laden boat in rapids.Solo paddling adds an element of hyper awareness sometimes absent in a group, I LIKE IT.
