Any Beginners in Boulder/Golden Area?

I am new to kayaking (2 months or so) and I am looking for some paddlers to do some beginner stuff(boulder creek, lyons ww, or golden). I am almost always up for paddling on weekends and anytime after work. I am still working on basic skills and getting comfortable in the river. Let me know if any of you want to meet up and paddle.

Hey Adam

I still consider myself wet behind the ears. Even though I have been kayaking for years, I took several years off. So... Anyway, I work in Boulder, and have been known to take my boat to work. I live in Westminster, but I do play in all the water spots you mentioned and would be up for hitting the water. Unfortunantly I'll be out of town this weekend, so perhaps sometime next week? I get off work around 5:30. I am looking to hook up with other kayakers still in the beginner to low-intermediate levels. <- subject "Kayak"

Any Beginners in Boulder/Golden Area?

Hi Adam,

I am a keen paddler from Australia new to the Boulder area looking for some paddling companions. My boat arrives this weekend and I can't wait to get out on the Boulder Creek and the training center at Golden.
I've been paddling for 4 years but the trips have been very lean the last 2 years with drought back home.

I am an intermediate level paddler, comfortable in grade 3/4 and have done river rescue training. I would be happy to paddle with you at these places but I do not yet have a car. I live in Boulder.

I also just started about two months ago, and I'm always up for paddling Lyons/Boulder/Golden. Anytime after 5:30 pm is easiest for me during the week. I'm out of town this weekend, heading up to the Poudre with CWWA, something you should look into, Give a holla if you want to get out next week.

Ben- Where in Boulder do you live? I'm on Mapleton and could definately swing by next time I head out if you need a ride.

What's up, ya'll-
I live in Boulder and I'm a second season paddler with a few days on the Boulder Creek so far this year. I'm still getting my strokes under me so I was thinking about trying the Arkansas Milk Run this weekend to really start the season. Reports indicate Class I - II+. It's probably just a cruiser but I'm just looking for a good warm up and some eddys to practice/play in. Any takers? Call me at 720 352-8471 if anybody is interested in a road trip or even doing a long run down the Boulder Creek from Edwin G. Fine to 75th St.

Hey folks
I've only been paddling for a year or so and I'm still getting to know the feel of the rivers. I work odd hours being a kitchen manager but I'm always up for running class II or III's around the Denver area,

Free during the week

I am in my first season of boating and would be happy to meet up with any of you. I am a teacher so I am free most of the summer and always up for trips. So far I've been down to the rio in taos, the poudre, boulder creek, clear creek. STill trying to get my role completely dialed in moving water. Would like to go do milk run on the arkansas. Was down there last weekend rafting around royal gorge and the water is dropping. So would love to go either tuesday or thursday this week. My phone number is 303-499-6988 -- dan
