This course will be have a primary focus on reviewing basic strokes and concepts and then expanding upon them, especially the ability to harness forward and spin momentum. The foundation of this class will be a stroke mobility workout. Practice drills developing basic skills will aid immensely in understanding and performing advanced strokes. Other concepts include edge control, bow turning and control strokes, and advanced combination strokes.

Cost $50

Sam Drevo

http://www.enrgkayaking.com/team

Sam Drevo is teaching the stroke class. Sam is one of the highest certified ACA instructors in the country. He is an ex-slalom paddler, been world racked in whitewater freestyle, and is super easy going and fun to learn from. He'll be back later in the summer to run a Swiftwater class and an ACA Instructors cert class.

This a great chance to learn from a guy that's as excellent of an instructor as he his kayaker. The two don't always run together. Call : 303-433-3676 for details and to reserve a spot.
