On November 21 of this year Damon would have been 34 years old. Unfortunately he will not be here to celebrate that wonderful event. But - we are all here and can celebrate for him. On that day - his mother in Denver - is giving him a party to celebrate his wonderful life. There will also be a party for him in Albuquerque - on the same day. So - to all who knew and shared a part of their lives with this remarkable person - I offer a toast, to each and every one of you in Damon's honor. I plan to open a beer at 8:00pm, and as Damon would always do - pour a small amount on the ground for mother earth - and then look to the heavens and thank the good Lord for sharing him with me for as long as he did. Please feel free to join in this tribute to our wonderful son and Derek's bro. Also - hug someone - it's good for the soul.
