32 days on the colorado,Pumphouse to the lake.

I saw alot of stupid people doing stupid things along the way. These people are the winners.
Gus from Telluride and Steve from Basalt. You came to our camp at Onion creek and ended up staying with the other group at #2. When you guy's showed up you all had PFD's on. Soon after that the SUP's were on the water ( all day long) But no PFD's I even watched as you paddled into the riffles in front of our camp with your Infant Child holding on to the front of the thing. You were not wearing your PFD. What the F#ck???? You must have Shit for brains.
After many boats left that camp I went down to check out how you left the place. Huge pile of ashes on the beach and a Five Gallon Bucket of POOP!
C'mon guy's, Maybe a water safety class is in order. Then maybe ask around and figure out how to camp on the river. How did you possibly sweep camp and still leave a bucket of shit right there for me to deal with?
Truly discusting!!!

Anything fun to say about the trip? I mean, other than the fact that you just spent a month doing what we all would like to do? How did you portage the dams at Shoshone and Debeque canyon?
On the river, I can abandon who I am and what I've done. However brief it lasts, while on the river I am nothing important and everything insignificant. I am flotsam, and happy to be so.

Pumphouse to Dotsero, Shoshone to Debeque, Palisade to the Lake.
There were many good times. Full moon floats, Westwater and the beaches on Cat were awesome. I guess I should have titled this post different. I was mostly trying to understand the shear stupidity of people, That think they know what they are doing. And the importance of taking a lesson or two when you get your first raft. And of course if these two clowns are in this community, Maybe they will get the message.

Sounds like an amazing trip. It's too bad, but I guess in 32 days you are bound to run across a few shit heads (literally).

I'd love to hear a complete trip report on this.
Specifically getting around the dams and any logistics.
