It sucks that this was shut down but calling the F.S. out like this is bs. The permit process is public knowledge, go find out what's needed to get it. It's not their job to bring it to your door step.

Which is fine, but if it wasn't confusing, I'm guessing one would have been acquired. I'll keep my mouth shut. I dont think the event needs to wait till next year though. It's a good cause.

wow. fs might want to do more research before they start busting balls. sounds like a power trip. personally i would have sat in my boat not said a thing and boated the shit. they can't prove your with anybody and they can't stop you. as far as donations. thats seperate from boating.

Just private message everybody in our "inner circles of trust" and do the run anyway. What are they going to do when a group of yet still free people show up and spontaneously decide to boat together?
