We had a tremendous turn-out! And threw a heck of a party. The films were outstanding, the food was terrific, and we managed to float 10 kegs. We can't wait to do it all over again next year! We brought in over $13K. After we pay the bills, we'll have lots of loot leftover to donate to deserving organizations like American Whitewater
, Friends of Dolpa
, and Team River Runner
, just to name a few.
Thanks so much to all the attendees, donors, sponsors, and volunteers. And a special thanks to Doug Ammons. Doug was a humble and gracious guest host. He and his wife Robin were certainly a pleasure to be around.
If you haven't heard Doug speak, put it on your list.
Start thinking about your footage for next year. 2012 festival date will be Feb, 24th-25th.
