1st timer on Westwater-leaving in two hours

Just begged my way onto a Westwater trip this weekend. I forgot to ask the folks I'm going with what boat to bring and they've already left. I've never been there. I use my EZG42 for everything, but I have a Lil Joe too. I squirt or wheel every eddy line, am just learning to cartwheel, (can only do 1.5) and catch every wave I can, so I'm leaning towards the EZG. We have adequate raft support as well. Am I thinking right, for this run?

Thanks a ton!

Thanks Redbeard. That's what I was hoping to hear. Not that I don't enjoy a new run, just for the experience, but I sure like to play as much as possible.

Now if I can just make it from Laramie, through the snow. I'm thinking Kremmling, Trough Road, State Bridge, Walcott, to I-70. Checking road and travel right now!

Tell your group it's better to sleep in and eat breakfast before worrying about reserving your camp spot on the river. They're all pretty much the same anyway.

I'll sure mention it, I'm all about sleeping in and getting a good breakfast. I think they want to camp at Little D for the play op though. (Don't know if that is the right name or not.) Thanks for the advice.

I'm outta here! (My boss said I could leave early since the snows flying!!!)
